PARTICIPATION PROCESS OR ELIGIBILITY

1. Studymate Foundation Assessment Test can be taken by Students of Class 7 to 11 residing at Delhi NCR region by Registering/enrolling on www.studymateonline.com.
2. Students will be required to Register by sending SMS Foundation to 56070 or by filling up the Registration form on www.studymateonline.com
3. The Students are required to provide correct and verified Mobile No. & E-mail ID of the Parent / Guardian. The Students and Parents /Guardian shall be responsible for getting their Mobile No. & E- mail ID verified.
4. In absence of the correct and verified Mobile No. & E-mail ID, HTLC shall not be responsible for providing test results or information to the parents.
5. The Parent/ Guardian consents that the test results or promotional, marketing information of HTLC will be sent to the verified mobile number via SMS/ verified E-mail ID only.
6. Test process will be as following
   1. Assessment Test will be in Multiple Choice Question format
   2. Test will comprise Mathematics and Science Questions for Class 7 to 10. For Class 11, students can choose subjects basis their stream.
      1. Science Students – Physics and Chemistry will be compulsory. Students can choose between Mathematics or Biology.
      2. Commerce Students – Accountancy and Economics will be compulsory. Students can choose between Mathematics or Business Studies.
   3. Exam will be conducted at Studymate Centers on 23rd December, 2018 between 3:00 PM till 5:00 PM.
   4. The duration of this exam is for One and Half Hours (90 minutes).
   5. Students can choose the preferred StudyMate center at the time of Registration.
   6. It will be an OMR based test and therefore will be system checked as per the answer key.
   7. Post Exam students will be provided with detailed diagnostics on their performance along with inputs on their weak and strong areas.
7. After the test is conducted within a period of forty (40) days, a merit list of the successful students containing the Names, Roll Nos. & Ranks and result scored by the students in descending order will be displayed on our website. Students and Parents will need to login to the website to check their results. They can login using by entering School Name, Class, Roll Number and Section of the students as per the details provided by the student in Registration Form. Password will be an OTP that will be sent to their registered Mobile Number.
8. In case of ties, the list will be broken by sequentially applying the following set of rules
   1. Student having higher marks in Mathematics for Class 7, 8, 9 and 10 students, in Physics for Class 11 Science Students, in Accounts for Class 11 Commerce students
   2. In case of any dispute or contention, HTLC reserves the right to take the final decision which shall be final and binding on the parties.
9. In case any student/candidate is found to be involved in cheating/copying/leaking out of question paper or similar activities, his candidature shall be cancelled immediately. In case he is awarded any scholarship under the program he or she shall immediately return/refund the entire amount.
10. All students, who avail Scholarship Award and enroll with HTLC, must meet the following requirements failing which his/her scholarship will be revoked with immediate effect without assigning any reason. The decision of management of HTLC shall be final and binding to the students and the parents. It is assumed that every candidate and the parents have read and are well aware of the present terms and conditions before applying for scholarship program.

    1. ATTENDANCE

       1. The attendance of the student in the coaching class should not drop below eighty percent (80%) throughout the program. It is compulsory for a student under this program to write all his/her class test papers conducted by the institute in his/her batches.
       2. If a student keeps himself/herself absent from the classes without prior written approval from the Centre Head, then a warning letter will be issued against him/her. If the student still continues to default, then his/her candidature for the scholarship award may be revoked with immediate effect by the company at its sole discretion.
    2. DISCIPLINE
       1. Any act of indiscipline by the student in the classroom centre, brought to the notice of the administration of HTLC, will not be accepted. A warning will be issued to such students, offering them a chance to improve their behavior. Despite warning, if the student does not alter his/her attitude and commits another act of indiscipline, his/her candidature for the scholarship award will be revoked with immediate effect.
       2. In case a student misbehaves / gets involved in negative activities like ragging, teasing, theft, indiscipline, use of abusive language, damage to centre infrastructure, or any personal’s belongings, he/she can be rusticated without giving any notice and no fee shall be refunded in such cases. In case of any loss of any kind to the property or brand image of HTLC, HTLC reserves the right to initiate appropriate legal action against the student/candidate, parent, or person involved in such impermissible activity.
11. If a student fails in his/her school exam for Academic Year 2018-19, then his/her candidature for the scholarship award will be withdrawn.
12. Enrollment once made cannot be cancelled by the Student/ Parent/ Guardian.
13. Refund of any amount given for enrollment shall be governed as per the refund policy mentioned on the invoice.
14. The decision of management of HTLC shall be final and binding to the students and the parents with regards to the allotment of batches Maximum Scholarship benefits for a student shall not exceed 100% of tuition fee in any case whatsoever.

ELIGIBILITY

1. To be eligible for Scholarship Award, it is mandatory for students to join our Regular Classroom Course for Academic Year 2019-20, before 31 March 2019 for Minimum Number of subjects as defined below. The Enrolment once done cannot be cancelled in any circumstances.
   1. Rank 1-100: The Scholarship Award shall be provided to the Student who enrolls with the Studymate center for a minimum of three (3) Subjects.
   2. Rank 101 to 600: The Scholarship Award shall be provided to the Student who enrolls with the Study mate center for a minimum of two (2) Subjects.
2. The Program is open only for Students studying between Class 7 to 11.
3. Scholarship: Scholarship means Fee Concession, Fee Discount, and Fee Waiver as per the sole discretion of HTLC.
4. Enrolment Scholarship will be applicable only on Tuition Fee for the program.
5. Tuition Fee: The Tuition Fee for Classroom Program is different at various centers of HTLC. For details, contact the nearest centre of HTLC.
6. Scholarship will be awarded to Top 600 students for each class as per the following criteria and minimum cut-off marks in Studymate Foundation Assessment Test.

MISCELLANEOUS

1. No other benefit, Scholarship, discount or offer can be clubbed with Scholarship Benefit under this program.
2. The scholarship being offered to students is being given to meet the cost of Education.
3. Applicable Goods and Service Tax (GST) or any other taxes on the scholarship / concession amount / fee waiver shall be borne by the student / parent / guardian.
4. No Student shall be eligible whose either parents or guardians are working with HT Learning Centers Ltd.
5. In case, any dispute or difference arises between parents and the Institute/Studymate regarding the interpretation of these terms and conditions, non-payment of any claim or any dispute arising out of or in pursuant to these terms and conditions, the parties agree that the same shall be decided by the courts of New Delhi only.
6. Any disputes or any matter arising here from will be referred to a Sole Arbitrator to be appointed by HTLC whose decision shall be final and binding on the parties in accordance with arbitration proceeding under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The place of Arbitration shall be at New Delhi. The language of Arbitration Proceeding shall be English.
